The Acecook Good Vermicelli Spareribs Flavor is a Vietnamese import that James and I went into with low expectations. We’ve tried other spare rib versions that were completely bland. The packaging is actually beautiful which made us hopeful. And it delivered a more balanced experience than we expected.
Produced in Vietnam.

What’s in the Package
Inside, youโll find thin glass noodles and a silver sachet of sparerib-flavored soup powder, a sachet of dried vegetables like scallions, and a sachet of flavored oil.

How to Cook Acecook Good Vermicelli Spareribs Flavor
- Place the vermicelli bundle and the contents of all three seasoning sachets into a deep bowl.
- Pour in about 1.7 cups (approx. 400ml) of boiling water.
- Cover the bowl with a lid or plate and let it sit for 3 minutes.
- Uncover, stir well to ensure the shallot oil and powder are fully incorporated, and serve immediately.

How Does It Taste
It has a classic savory Asian soup profile. The broth was onion powder-forward with a sweetness that keeps it from being boring. It was a bit salty for our tastes, but that is better than it being bland.
The one real miss was the fake meat chunks. The soft mushy texture was off-putting. We’d recommend picking those out entirely.
The noodles are a delicate mix of mung bean and rice vermicelli. They’re incredibly thin at a 0.5 out of 5 on thickness. Almost zero thickness but it has a nice light chew. The broth stays very light and easy to drink as a result.

How Does It Compare
The Acecook Hao Hao Hot and Sour Shrimp from the same brand has more character and a more distinctive flavor profile. The Vifon Instant Bean Thread Chicken Flavor is the closest comparison in terms of the delicate vermicelli format. It was also light, also easy to drink. This instant noodle is the sweeter of the two.
How to Level Up Acecook Good Vermicelli Spareribs Flavor
This bowl only has 1 gram of protein so you have to add substance. Grilled chicken breast is the clean option. Vietnamese beef meatballs are the more authentic move and you can just drop them in while cooking. Add some fresh cilantro at the end.

Final Verdict
The Acecook Good Vermicelli Spare Ribs Flavor surprised us. It’s not a bold bowl but it’s balanced and comforting for a light meal. Skip the fake meat chunks entirely. Add beef meatballs and cilantro and this becomes a pleasant quick bowl.
