The Immi Spicy Beef Ramen Soup is high protein, low carb, and plant-based. The first thing I noticed when I opened it was the smell. It reminded me of pho. There were herbal notes coming through that I wasn’t expecting from something called spicy beef.
Produced in China. Distributed in USA.

What’s in the Package
Inside the Immi Spicy Beef pack, youโll find a square dried noodle block and seasoning powder packet.

How to Prepare It
- Bring 1.5 to 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
- Add the noodle block and boil for 9 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the red seasoning packet.
- Stir for a full 30 seconds to ensure the spices are fully dissolved.

How Does It Taste
Those pho-adjacent herbal notes carry through into the flavor. There’s something in the seasoning that reminds me of star anise or cinnamon.
The broth is beef bouillon and it’s one-note. It doesn’t really develop beyond that. We noticed the noodles have the same gritty texture that runs through the whole Immi line.
And even though there’s spicy in the name, James and I didn’t detect any heat at all.
How Does It Compare
Within the Immi lineup the Spicy Beef has the most interesting base note thanks to those herbal pho undertones. The Creamy Chicken and Black Garlic Chicken are both milder in terms of flavor complexity. If you’re going to try one Immi product the Spicy Red Miso has the most developed flavor of the range. This one is better suited to someone who wants something clean and high protein rather than bold.

How to Level It Up
I would add a squeeze of lime since it cuts through the one-note beef bouillon and leans into those pho notes that are already there. Fresh basil and cilantro take that direction further. Sliced jalapeรฑo adds the heat the bowl claims to have but doesn’t deliver. This is also a good fridge-clearing bowl.
Final Verdict
The Immi Spicy Beef Ramen Soup has the most interesting base note in the Immi lineup thanks to those accidental pho notes. I don’t think I would buy this one again, but it’s not bad.

Personally, I did NOT like this ramen at all. The broth was ok, but i couldn’t stand the texture of the noodles.
