The Unif Tung-I Chinese Onion Flavor Ramen is distributed by a California company but actually manufactured in Vietnam. While the dry package looks pretty unassuming, once cooked, it gives off a strong onion-like smell that lives up to its flavor.
Produced in Vietnam. Distributed in the United States.

This tastes like your classic beef-flavored Asian style noodle. It delivers a one-dimensional flavor dominated by onion, salt, beef bouillon, and MSG. Itโs savory and salty without being too overpowering, and there is zero spice.

The noodles are wavy and flat, but they have a unique texture and color that sets them apart from the typical flat noodles Iโve tried. The broth itself is on the thinner side, but it does its job.

To level this up, lean into the beef profile. I’d recommend sliced roast beef along with a splash of soy sauce and sesame oil. I would skip the veggies entirely and go straight for a fried egg. And one thing to note: you donโt need any more onions as the broth already has plenty.
