Yakisoba made in Poland is not something I expected to find in the instant ramen aisle. Ajinomoto is a well-known Japanese food brand and the Oyakata Yakisoba Classic Soya Sauce is their take on the classic Japanese street food staple. It’s fully vegan and this is a dry ramen with no broth.
Produced in Poland.

What’s in the Package
Inside is a cylindrical block of instant wheat noodles that comes pre-mixed with a generous amount of dehydrated garnish, including cabbage, carrots, and green onions.

How to Prepare It
Start by opening the lid and removing the sauce sachet. Fill the cup with boiling water up to the inner line, replace the lid, and let it sit for 3 minutes. Thanks to the clever design of the lid, you can drain the water directly through the built-in holes. Finally, peel off the lid, stir in the sauce sachet until the noodles are evenly coated, and enjoy your meal straight from the cup.
How Does It Taste
The first thing I noticed was the smell when I opened it. It was like a concentrated soy sauce note that hits you immediately. The taste itself is milder than the initial impression suggests. The soy sauce base comes through cleanly.
This reminded me of a cup noodle but without the broth. The flavor profile is soy-forward, slightly savory, with no spice whatsoever. What you get is a clean, simple Japanese comfort food flavor that doesn’t try to do too much.
For a vegan product the flavor is solid. It doesn’t lean on meat-based seasoning and it doesn’t taste like it’s missing anything in that department.
The noodles are thin and wavy. They’re not the thickest or most texturally interesting noodles on the site but they carry the sauce well and don’t go soggy.
How Does It Compare
The most direct comparison on the site in the dry yakisoba format is the Samyang Buldak Yakisoba Spicy Ramen. That one is aggressively spicy with a Worcestershire and Buldak sauce combination. This is the opposite being mild, clean, and gentle. If the Buldak Yakisoba is the version you eat when you want heat, this is the version you reach for when you want something simple and satisfying without any challenge.

How to Level Up Ajinomoto Oyakata Yakisoba Classic Soya Sauce
The mild soy base is a blank canvas that responds well to additions. Soy-marinated pressed tofu is the most natural fit here. A drizzle of teriyaki sauce adds a sweetness that the plain soy base doesn’t have. If you want heat, I would add a dash of Shichimi togarashi and a drizzle of chili oil.
Final Verdict
This instant ramen is a solid vegan dry noodle that delivers on simplicity. The flavor is clean and the drain-hole lid is a practical design touch. It won’t challenge your palate but that’s not what it’s trying to do. If you want a mild, plant-based yakisoba that’s ready in minutes, this is a reliable option.

The noodles held the sauce well, but I wish there was more spice. Great flavour though!
Very rich flavour, nice noodle texture, quite wavy, altogether a nice instant ramen.
