My Childhood Ramen Mama Shrimp Tom Yum Upgraded

Level up classic Mama Tom Yum with Vienna sausages and a perfectly poached egg in minutes.

  • 1 package Mama Shrimp Tom Yum Instant Noodles
  • 4 Vienna sausages
  • 1 large egg
  • green onion sliced to garnish
  • 3 slices jalapeno to garnish
  • 1 wedge lime

Instructions

  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot. Add the Mama Shrimp Tom Yum seasoning packets to the boiling water.
  • Add the Mama Shrimp Tom Yum noodles and drained Vienna sausages to the pot. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are mostly cooked.
  • Create a small well in the center of the noodles and carefully crack the egg directly into it. Cover the pot and let the egg poach in the simmering broth for about 1-2 minutes, or until the whites are set and the yolk is still runny (or cooked to your preference).
  • Carefully pour the ramen, broth, Vienna sausages, and poached egg into a bowl.
  • Garnish with thinly sliced green onions and jalapeño slices (if using).
  • Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Serve immediately and enjoy this upgraded taste of childhood!
